chegando ao fim da retrospectiva musical deste louco ano de
copa e eleições. já passaram por aqui músicas
e discos
brasileiros, e discos
gringos. agora é a vez das músicas gringas em uma lista maior [são 60 e com
mais um chorinho massa].
2014 foi o ano de mais uma ótima música pop & fenômeno
cultural, “happy” do pharrell williams, que na verdade saiu no final de 2013
como parte da trilha sonora da animação meu
malvado favorito 2, mas que estourou esse ano e foi lançada em seu segundo
disco solo. 2014 também foi o ano de novos ótimos trabalhos [e,
consequentemente, músicas] de veteranos como leonard cohen, snoop dogg, de la
soul, neneh cherry, tony allen, wu-tang clam e prince.
no entanto, como tem sido quase uma regra inconsciente de
todas as listas que faço desde 2009, grande parte das músicas é de artistas
estreantes ou com menos de dez anos de carreira. outra quase regra é a
variedade de lugares, pois tem gente de burkina faso [joey le soldat],
togo/frança [vaudou game], colômbia [meridian brothers],
escócia/libéria/nigéria [young fathers], nigéria [tony allen], austrália [chet
faker], canadá [leonard cohen, alejandra ribera e the souljazz orchestra],
